Who is Chase and Status?

Chase and Status' first track was from Chase and Status on the label Renegade Hardware and was followed with big tracks such as Love's Theme, Iron Fist and Hoodrat on established record labels such as Bingo, BC Presents and Habit. DJ's: Andy C, Mampi Swift, Friction, Zinc, Pendulum, Fabio and Bad Company have given much support for their genre which has only been further proven by regular play on Clubs

Ever since the making of their drum and bass career in 2004, chase and status have increasingly been moving further in the dnb scene. Their style is a mix of melodic dubstep and drum n bass and they have remixed dozens of new songs by various artists imputting their own style. Some have said their genre even borders on dream trance. Chase and Status have been impacted by artists of the same genre such as Camo & Krooked but really set a name for themselves in the last three years especially 2007 and 2008. Once the niche genre of the mix of dnb and dubstep became mainstream they really launched forward and began to rank on the charts. They still have yet to caught on outside of europe in markets like the USA however the trend seems to show that they will. Their myspace official site shows that they have earned over 200,000 visitors and their Lastfm page shows that they have over 100,000 listeners that have scrobbled tracks with the lastfm player. Definitely awesome.
